UNO-R rep mulls giving up University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos Student Affairs Office director, Carlos Legaspi, said resigning his seat as UNO-R representative in the Negros Occidental Private Schools Sports Cultural and Educational Association Board is an option he might take after the body disregarded his chairmanship of its Committee on Press Relations. Legaspi said he was surprised to read in a local paper, not the DAILY STAR, about the Board’s decision overruling the petition of UNO-R to play the second game in the championship series of the collegiate basketball against West Negros University. He said the Jury of Appeals recommended that Game 2 should be played, but the NOPSSCEA Board voted against it, 5-4, in a meeting held October 23, 2012, and attended by 10 of its 15 members. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
