Cebu Pacific launched one of its hubs yesterday with its maiden Iloilo – Hong Kong flight, the first international flight out of the Iloilo International Airport, its press release said.
The Thursday, Sunday Iloilo–Hong Kong service kicked off with the inaugural flight departing from Iloilo at 11:10 p.m..
It was set to arrive in Hong Kong at 1:35 a.m. today
. After a 45-minute turnaround, the return flight was slated to leave Hong Kong at 2:20 a.m., the press release said.
Iloilo is set to welcome its first international passengers from Hong Kong who include Consul General Noel Servigon from the Philippine embassy in Hong Kong, who is from Iloilo, and key overseas Filipino group leaders in the territory.
It will also send off the maiden Iloilo-Singapore flight today.
The Monday, Wednesday, Friday Iloilo-Singapore service departs Iloilo at 10:40 p.m. and arrives in Singapore at 1:55 a.m. the next day. The return flight departs Singapore at 2:40am and arrives at 6:10 a.m., the press release said.
Other CEB operational hubs in the Philippines are Manila, Cebu, Clark, Kalibo and Davao, the press release said.*
