Guv inaugurates
classroom building

Negros Occidental Gov. Alfredo Marañon Jr. led in the inauguration of a two-classroom building constructed in Uldarico Suison Elementary School in Brgy. San Jose, Toboso town, Friday, a press release from the Capitol said yesterday.

The P1.4 million project was funded by the provincial government of Negros Occidental.

Marañon was assisted by Board Members Nehemias Dela Cruz, Sr. and Melvin Ibañez, Mayor Evello Valencia of Toboso, Capt. Crescenciano Timongan of Brgy. Jan Jose, among others.

The blessing of the building officiated by Rev. Fr. Larry Martinez, was followed by the ribbon-cutting ceremony and the symbolic turnover of the key from provincial and local officials to the school, the press release said.

Marañon said the project will be a great help to the school as an essential factor in the development of the students, and in acquiring quality education.*
