Medical mission
held in Murcia
The yearly medical mission “Ang Bulig Sa Mga Ilonggo” of the Leisure and Resorts World Corporation, in cooperation with the Betty Bantug Benitez Foundation and the Office of Third District Rep. Alfredo Benitez, assisted 607 residents with free medical and dental consultation and free medicines in Murcia town yesterday, a press release from the office of Benitez said.

Twenty-four volunteer doctors and dentists served the medical mission held at the Murcia gymnasium, the press release said.

The medical team was composed of doctors Felix Valenzuela, Sabina Damazo, Ma. Elaine Parrenas, Therese Sune, Anabelle Ortiz, Madeleine Cabarrubias, Cornelia Zarceno, Joy Gladys Guanzon, Rudy Gonzales Serolina Gonzales, Domingo Vega, Myra Valenzuela –Hurboda, Raymund Maguad, Venipearl Guillar, Napoleon Sacro, Victoria Mercurio, Judith Chua, Louella Garlitos, Elizabel Bugaay, and Jennifer Subong.

Volunteer dentists were Margarita Aparra, Cecile Tolosa, Andrei Clark Depasucat and Marvi Depasucat.

The LRWC medical mission has already benefitted 3,787 families in the Third District of Negros Occidental, the press release added.*
