A provincial ordinance has been passed making the organic festival an annual event of the provincial government and the private sector, Uy said.

The festival this year will include daily exhibits at the trade fair of organic products, talks and symposia on organic agriculture, agri tours, a food alley, a Larong Pinoy, song writing contest, a Best Gulayan sa Paaralan contest, an organic quiz bee, Dakpanay Ilahas na Manok, a poster slogan contest using indigenous materials, organic food and cassava cooking tilts, an indigenous people’s band competition and an exhibit of old traditional farming and cooking tools.*CPG
