25 Neg. Occ. SMEs
eyed for 2013 expo

Consultants and advisors of the Center for International Trade Expositions and Missions for the International Food Exposition 2013 will arrive today in Bacolod City for the phase two evaluation of the 25 small and medium enterprises that have the potential of joining the exhibit next year at the SM Mall of Asia, Lucille Gelvolea, IFEX 2013 secretariat, said yesterday.

Industry Development advisor Rose Kwan, consultant on Food Safety and Quality, and Labeling Requirements Ma. Luz Lizada, and Abner Villahermosa, designer of the Department of Science and Technology will assist SMEs in completing their requirements.

The 25 companies are Fresh Start, Negros Island Sustainable Agriculture and Rural Development, Herbanext, Virgie’s, Bongbong’s, Option MPC, Kits Herbs, T Flavors, Casa Carmela, Cheryl’s, Federico’s, Fix & Mix, Grafil, Negros Binhi, Inc., Saring, Himamaylan, San Isidro Rural Improvement Club, Tingtings, RCA, Bern Ghies, BalikKalikasan, Velorias, Tristan Mar, Mariel’s, and El Ideal.

The 25 SMEs will also have booths during the 7th Negros Organic Farmers Festival Thursday to Saturday at the Provincial Capitol Grounds.

The partner province program is organized by CITEM, Department of Trade and Industry Region VI, and the Province of Negros Occidental.*LTG
