Man shot dead in Bais
BY JUDY F. PARTLOW
A resident of Barangay Looc, Bais City, Negros Oriental, was shot dead Saturday at the city’s grandstand.

Police identified the fatality as Narvic Teves, of legal age, who was rushed to the Bais District Hospital but later transferred to the Negros Oriental Provincial Hospital where he died due to multiple gunshot wounds.

Initial investigation showed that Teves was standing near the grandstand in Bais City when unidentified suspects came up to him and opened fire. Police recovered six empty shells and a small packet of suspected shabu at the crime scene.

The police are investigating to determine the identities of the suspects, and said the shooting may be related to the illegal drugs trade.*JFP
