AACI Trading secures top spot
in Fil-Sino basketball tournament

Joel Alcorin finished the 10-kilometer race after 40 minutes and 10.36 seconds, while Jerry Cabardo was the fastest among the cyclists, in the “Burn For The Faith” Fun Run and Bike event on Nov. 17 organized by the Commission on Vocations of the Diocese of Bacolod.

Finishing behind Alcorin in the male 10K category was Chepe Dulay, who clocked in 46 minutes and 35.95 seconds, while Joey Carbonell Jr. placed third with his time of 46 minutes and 53.14 seconds.

In the female 10K event, Gella Mayang topped the race with a time of 51.44 minutes, while Weng Chang registered 54.25 minutes to place second, and Charity Ruiz, clocked in 56.24 minutes to settle for third place.

The top three finishers in the 5K male category were Edzille Porras (24.07 mins), Arnold Dominic Burgos (24.08 mins), and Belle June Labtic (24.09 mins), while Karen Campomanes, Krystelle Villarante, and Kimberly Rojo, captured the top three places in the female group.

Completing the list of winners in the fun run event were 3K top three runners Joan Ibañez (9.55.17), Benjie Siba (10.00.16), and Garry Fusin (10:00/41) in the male category, and Kimberly Daraug (14.36.37), Theresa Catalbas (17.18.65), and Margareth Yusay (18:29.00).

Meanwhile, Cabardo was joined by Allan Atas and Alberto Gonora in the top three finishers of the bike event.

More than 2,000 participants, mostly from the Catholic schools based in Bacolod, joined the fun run and bike event spearheaded by the Sacred Heart Seminary community.*NAB
