Dec. 2 Fun Run

Actress Valerie Concepcion will lead the fun run titled “Run for Progress” on Sunday in Bacolod City.

The Run for Progress program is an initiative that aims to drum up the Look! Go South Movement and to impact not just for the particular area concerned but for Bacolod City as a whole.

The program is an effort to allow the youth and citizens of Bacolod City to seriously look at the assets, potential and programs for the ultimate development of southern Bacolod City.

Rodel Pangadian, event organizer, said assembly will be at 4 a.m. on Sunday at the Metrodome area in Araneta Street, Bacolod City and the opening program will be at 5 a.m. with the participation of Concepcion.

He said 10 k runners will start from Metrodome at 5:20 a.m. towards Manville Royale and back to the Metrodome, while 5 k runners will start at 5:25 a.m. towards Transcom and back to Metrodome.

Pangadian said 3 k runners will start at 5:30 a.m. from the Metrodome to Bangga Alijis and back to Metrodome.

Awarding of prizes for 10 k, 15 k and 3 k top five finishers will be at 8 a.m. at the Metrodome.*CGS
