Marking 22 years

The 22nd anniversary celebration of L’Fisher Hotel in Bacolod City on Saturday, started at 5 a.m. with a fun run organized by JV Mapa and Mondi Dilag, with almost 1,000 running enthusiasts participating.

Runners from all walks of life joined in the one kilometer, five, 10, 15 and 22 kms., and the winners received cash prizes, a night’s stay at the hotel, and other miscellaneous prizes.

The thanksgiving mass at 10 a.m. was officiated by Fr. Emil Ascaño at the La Proa Ballroom,and attended by officers and employees.

It was followed by a motorcade around Bacolod City. Merienda was served to all employees and participants in the fun run.

In the evening, the hotel owners prepared a lavish dinner for families, friends and supporters. Almost all tables at the Ripples were fully-booked. Singers entertained the crowd. I proceeded to Don Ricardo Hall where Lourdes C. president Roseller Ciocon, the Mapa and de Leon families were enjoying the night. The stars of the evening were the three grand apos of the Ciocons.
