ANP, partners advocate
for food safety program

The Association of Negros Producers, in partnership with the Assistance for the Fontification of Organizations Foundation and the Department of Science and Technology is launching a Food Safety Program for the Food industry in Negros Occidental under a 3-year program called OURFood, an ANP press release said.

Optimizing and Upscaling Roles in the Food Supply Chain or OURFood, is a program implemented by the Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Association of Negros Producers and the Negros Oriental Chamber of Commerce and Industry. which aims to increase the income situation of MSMEs.

More recruitment
activities slated

The Public Employment Service Office of Bacolod City will conduct special recruitment activities through four agencies for jobs abroad from Oct. 9 to 16.

PESO manager Moises de la Cruz, said yesterday that the recruitment agencies are Blazing Star Man Power Services, Arab Peninsula, Greenfields Agency, and Progressive Employment.

BSMPS personnel will have their interviews on Oct. 9 at the Government Center of Bacolod City, for service crew applicants for McDonalds-Kuwait. Qualified applicants will have their final interview on Oct. 10 at the PESO at Luzuriaga Street, he said.
