activities slated

The Public Employment Service Office of Bacolod City will conduct special recruitment activities through four agencies for jobs abroad from Oct. 9 to 16.

PESO manager Moises de la Cruz, said yesterday that the recruitment agencies are Blazing Star Man Power Services, Arab Peninsula, Greenfields Agency, and Progressive Employment.

BSMPS personnel will have their interviews on Oct. 9 at the Government Center of Bacolod City, for service crew applicants for McDonalds-Kuwait. Qualified applicants will have their final interview on Oct. 10 at the PESO at Luzuriaga Street, he said.

De la Cruz also said that representatives of Progressive Employment also need skilled workers like foremen, technicians, cleaners, cooks, domestic helpers and medical professionals like nurses for Saudi Arabia. Their SRA is scheduled on Oct. 10 and 11 at PESO, he added.

A simultaneous SRA will be conducted at PESO on Oct. 15 and 16 by Arab Peninsula and Greenfields Agency.

AP needs skilled workers for Saudi Arabia while GA needs domestic helpers for Hongkong, de la Cruz also said.

He added that applicants must be on time and must bring complete documents, like transcript of records, training and employment certificates, diploma, resume, and passport if they have one.

Applicants are also asked to come in decent attire pointing out that shorts and slippers are not allowed during job interviews.*LTG
