Edgar De Leon of Sharp and Cheryl Ramos of St. Joseph Adventurers were champions in the tournament’s top 10 bowlers of the Active Solid Strikers Fellowship Bowlers Inc. organized by “Masskara Open Trio Regional Invitational Championship” at the New Top’s Millennium Plaza Alley in Bacolod City.

De Leon prevailed over TNT-Mechelec/Easyweld anchorman Ricky Ondovilla in the match, 130-121, to win the title in the men’s division, while Ramos bet Sylvia Del Rosario of Condura Ladies in the final, 115-113, for the women’s crown.

In their first encounter, Ondovilla defeated top seed De Leon 123-116, but the latter bounced back in the second round to win the top prize.

Meanwhile, Del Rosario earned the right to challenge Ramos after winning over Minnie Chua in the semifinals.

The tournament’s top 10 players were: Hernand Garciniego of NPBC/TNT Mechelec/Easyweld, Ricky Zamora (ESD Electronz), Mandoy Hervias (TNT-Mechelec/Easyweld) , Ricky Ondovilla (TNT Mechelec/Easyweld), Romulo Ramos (Mulo Car Aircon), Boy Villanueva (Mulo Car Aircon), Wilson Casas (Kami Mga Hubin), and Norman Pineda (Silverado) in the men’s bracket.

The women’s top players were Cecil Biendo (Tiger Eye), Jumelin De la Cruz (Tiger Eye), Margie Bayog (Racahe), Rowena Juarez (Racahe), Juliet Regollo (Condura), and Darry Casiano (Racahe).*
