City police seize shabu
BY ADRIAN NEMES III

Nine sachets of suspected shabu all worth P7,000 were recovered in a buy- bust operation conducted by members of the Bacolod City Police Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Operations Task Group at about 3:50 p.m. yesterday.

The buy-bust operation also led to the arrest of Roberto Menosa, alias Egil, 38, and his nephew Dieson Menosa, 18, both of Purok Cagaycay, Brgy. 2, CAIDSOTG head, Supt. Santiago Rapiz, said.

The elder Menosa was apprehended after he gave a small sachet of suspected shabu to a police poseur buyer in exchange for P300, while his nephew was apprehended at the house where they allegedly repack the substance, Rapiz said.

The police recovered at the same house, six elongated sachets and three small plastic sachets of the banned substance, illegal drug paraphernalia and P2, 353 in cash after the buy-bust operation, police record showed.

Illegal drug sale raps will be filed against the elder Menosa, while his nephew will be charged for illegal possession of dangerous drugs and drug paraphernalia.*APN
