NBA basketball trainer to
hold camp in Bacolod

Ryan Goodson, a pro player development trainer and NBA Skills Academy clinician will be in Bacolod City next month to hold a basketball camp among young players and a coaching clinic.

St. John's Institute junior basketball coach Dexter Dy said Goodson's schedule in Bacolod was arranged through coach Jerry Jaranilla of Iloilo Chinese Commercial High School, who was able to establish ties with Goodson.

The training camp for players 11 years old up to 20 years old will be held on Nov. 10 and 11, while the coaching clinic will be on Nov. 12 and 13.

Jaranilla said they hope to hold the four-day event at the Msgr. John Liu Activities Center in SJI.

Goodson is the owner of Goodson Basketball Services and the director of the 2012 Brendan Haywood Skills Academy and the 2011 Stephen Curry Skills Academy , both an invitation only events for the top high school and collegiate post players in the US .

He also served as a player and assistant coach for the Oklahoma Impact in the American Basketball Association.*NAB
