Amicable settlement seen in
men’s basketball ruckus

An amicable settlement between the men’s basketball teams of the West Negros University and the University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos is expected after the NOPSSCEA Board of Directors announces its decision on the conflict in this year’s championship series, Jury of Appeals chairman Pastor Edwin Madlangbayan yesterday said.

He said they were not able to submit their recommendation to NOPSSCEA president Dr. Gerson Cabarles yesterday, as they have to fine- tune their comments.

Madlangbayan said once the Board has announced its decision, the team officials of WNU and UNO-R should sit down together with the NOPSSCEA officials to resolve the issue.
