Around 30 clinical pastoral education practitioners and students from the Visayas and Mindanao are participating in the 5th CPE regional convention until today at the Silliman University Divinity School in Dumaguete City, a press release from organizers said.

The convention, on the theme “Giving Voice into the Journey Towards Wellness”, includes discussions on the nature, roles and challenges of CPE, and an immersion session at the Talay Mental Rehabilitation Center in Dumaguete City today, the press release also said.

Resource speakers are Lourdino Yuzon, former dean of the Divinity School; Krypton Kho, a neurosurgeon at the SU Medical Center; Fr. Geremvit Truno of the St. Joseph Seminary; and former university pastor Mediador Jumawan, the press release added.*
