Nine schools in Negros Oriental will compete in the provincial eliminations of the 21st Philippine Statistics Quiz, 1 p.m. on November 13 at the Negros Oriental State University main campus in Dumaguete City, a government press release said.

It is open to first-time college freshmen enrolled this second semester in any recognized tertiary academic institution in the province.
The top three winners will represent the province in the regional elimination tentatively scheduled on Nov. 19.
The Central Visayas winner will compete with representatives of the other 16 regions in the National PSQ in December in Metro Manila.
This year’s participating schools are Silliman University, Foundation University, St. Paul University, Negros oriental State University, COSCA, Maxino College, Maritime College, Science Technology Institute, and AMA, the press release added.*
