Cebu Pacific launched the inaugural flight of its Bacolod-Cagayan de Oro route at the Bacolod-Silay Airport yesterday using its ATR 72-500 aircraft.
Agnes Gupalor, Visayas and Midanao director for sales and marketing, said they want help make Bacolod a top destination for domestic and foreign travelers by providing more connectivity and access through air travel and low fare rates.
Gupalor said that more flights will facilitate more businesses, education, and government linkages in the region since Bacolod and Cagayan de Oro is now an hour and 10 minute plane ride.
Jollibee, SM kick
off ‘Maaga ang Pamasko'
Jollibee launched yesterday its 18 th “Maaga ang Pamasko”, the country's longest-running toy and book donation drive, in partnership with SM Supermalls yesterday at SM City Bacolod.
Manolo Pineda, area manager of Jollibee Bacolod, said “There is no better way for families to bond during the Christmas season than by sharing their blessings and bringing joy to those who need it most. Through the Maaga ang Pasko, we hope that families in Bacolod will also make sharing a part of their Christmas family tradition.”
Jollibee is also calling on more Filipino families to join the Jolly Family Toy Scouts and touch the lives of children in need.

Island Merchants Corporation, distributor of Nestle products for Negros and Siquijor, opened its new logistics center at the National Road, Brgy. Mansilingan, Bacolod City, its press release from IMC said.
The IMC warehouse design is based on Nestle Philippines Inc.'s specifications with a modern racking system supported by electric reach trucks and forklifts, the press release said.
IMC president and chief executive officer Manuel Parroco, said the company has enhanced its capability to accommodate and distribute the growing volume of its products.
