13 pass geologists exam 

Thirteen of 33 graduates from the Negros Oriental State University passed the licensure examination for geologists conducted by the Professional Regulation Commission in Manila August 14 to 16, a government press release said.

Six of the passers are from Negros Oriental, five from Mindanao and one each from Cebu and Negros Occidental, the press release also said.

They are Eshe Sena Rillos Absin of La Libertad, Randyson Mariño Awid, Bayawan City; Jun Rey Sabanal Buagas, Tayasan; Mary Grace Sayre Cubalan, Valencia; Joey Elnar de Vera, Dauin; and Ferdinand Bravo Lobino, Pamplona, all of Oriental Negros.

The five new geologists from Mindanao are Marlon Azuelo Calamohoy of Diplahan, Zamboanga Sibugay; Kim Balsomo Gahisan and Eve Willa May Dalmacio Macute, both of Dipolog City; Al Rey Sale Notarion of Calamba, Misamis Occidental; and Jayrald Elvina Sajulga of Diplahan, Zamboanga Sibugay; and Martin Ajito Lamanilao III from Lapulapu City, and Rhyza Ruth Tellano Parcon of Orong, Kabankalan City in Negros Occidental, the press release added.*
