KMH captures title in bowlfest

Kami Mga Hubin won in Class A, as Canvil Knights and Condura ASSFBI Ladies led in their categories in the 19th Sharp Friendship Cup Open Trio Bowling Tournament at the New Top's Millennium Plaza Alley in Bacolod City.

KMH won by beating host Sharp team of Irne Diaz, 378-315, in the final game.

KMH members were Wilson Casas, Djanggo Jarina and Odong Paran, while Edgar De Leon, Nonoy Hulguin and Matt Gaudite played for Sharp.

MANILA - The Philippine Army's dragon boat team won two championship trophies during the Cobra-Philippine Dragon Boat Federation quarterly regatta “Tunay na Lakas” sailing event at Manila Bay , Sunday.

Maj. Harold Cabunoc, Army spokesperson, said the Army Dragon Boat Team championed the first leg of 300 meters at 1:09 race time and the second leg of the same distance at 1:10 leaving behind 12 other teams.

The teams included Adamson Paddlers University , Amateur Paddlers Philippines, Cebu Dragons, De La Salle University Dragon Boat Team, Maharlika Drakon, Manila Ocean Park Dragon Boat Team, One Piece Drakon Sangres, Onslaught Racing Dragons, Philippine Blue Phoenix Dragon Boat Club, Rogue Pilipinas Paddlers, Rowers Club Philippines Sea Dragon, and Triton Dragon Boat Racing Team.
