Two at BIR still
being investigated

The National Bureau of Investigation probe into the lifestyle of two officers of the Bureau of Internal Revenue District Office 77 in Bacolod City is ongoing, NBI Bacolod chief Ferdinand Lavin said yesterday.

Lavin said they have asked for information about the two from several national agencies but got no response, so they are going to the regional offices to try to access the information they need.

The Presidential Action Center forwarded the graft complaints against the two to the BIR Region 6 Office in Iloilo for investigation, that, in turn, were sent to him for action, Lavin had said.*
