Governor to
inaugurate Cadiz bridge

The blessing and inauguration of the reopened of the Nabinay overflow bridge in Brgy. Mabini, Cadiz City will be held 10 a.m. today.

Gov. Alfredo Marañon Jr., as guest of honor, VMC President Hubert Tubio attended the ceremony, a press release from VMC said yesterday.

Marañon will cut the ribbon, assisted by Tubio, Cadiz City Mayor Patrick Escalante and VMDDCFI chairman Nemesio de la Cruz.

De la Cruz will welcome guests, district planters in the area milling with VMC and Brgy. Mabini residents.

Marañon will speak on the rehabilitation of the overflow bridge that was funded jointly by the provincial government and VMC, the benefits to the local economy, specifically to district planters in the area, and to the livelihood of residents. VMDDCFI spearheaded the P2 million project, the press release said.*
