The Public Employment Service Office of Bacolod City is hosting a two-day special recruitment activity today and tomorrow for the Sutherland Global Services, a business process outsourcing company, Moises de la Cruz, PESO manager, said yesterday.

De la Cruz said the company needs customer service representatives to handle its general services and CSR for North America and Australia, technical support representatives to handle network connections, and TSR for software and operating systems.

He said qualified applicants will work in Manila and will receive equitable benefits.

Rob Sumayao, account manager of SGS, said their company will provide free one month accommodation and meals for those who will qualify for the positions.

They also prefer applicants who can handle billing, collections, sales, claims, and credit cards for CSR who will handle financial calls from North America and Australia, Sumayao said.

For TSR positions, applicants with technical background on computer science, computer engineering, information technology, windows operating system are welcome to apply, she also said.

Meanwhile, de la Cruz said that Lead Resources Management Corporation has hired 19 applicants to work in Saudi Arabia as service crew supervisors, assistant managers, and managers in a fastfood chain.

He said the SRA was conducted last week and, from 30 qualified applicants, the agency chose 19 who will leave the country as soon as their work permits and documents are ready. *LTG
