Sun extends P5 per int’l text offer

Sun Prepaid subscribers may continue texting their friends and relatives abroad for just P5 per message, as Sun Cellular extends its special international text rate promo until September 30, a press release from the firm said.

This international SMS promo allows Sun Prepaid subscribers to send textto any destination abroad for only P5 per message of 160 characters, it said.

Sun Cellular subscribers may also enjoy the premium experience of international multimedia messaging service (iMMS) for as low as P5 per message. This lets them send pictures, ringtones or low-resolution videos to more than 200 countries abroad for just P5/MMS for content up to 100 kB and P10/MMS for content up to 300 kB, the press release said.

This service is open to both postpaid and prepaid subscribers, it said.

To avail of any these special rates, Sun has clarified that no further registration or special prefixes are needed. Sun Prepaid subscribers can just seamlessly send iSMS or iMMS directly through their Sun-powered mobile phones.
