PESO sets three-day job hiring
BY JUANCHO GALLARDE

The Public Employment Service Office in Negros Oriental is urging graduates and jobseekers to join its special recruitment activity September 17-19, in line with the one-year anniversary of “Magdegamo Equals Trabaho” program of the provincial government.

PESO head Jose Ramon Benedicto also said that recruitment of skilled workers for an electronic assembler in Cebu continues as more than 700 Negrenses have already been deployed to the Mitzumi Company based in Danao.

He said 322 successful applicants are also ready for deployment, with more than 50 recruits scheduled on September 19. The company is also looking for female assemblers.

Samsung Engineering senior vice president for human resource, Alex Adriano, also visited the PESO and assured Gov. Roel Degamo that Negrenses will be prioritized for at least 300 job positions for building constructions in Malaysia, Nepal, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia, Benedicto said.*JG
