‘Bike for Peace’,
tree-planting held

The 11th Infantry Battalion of the Philippine Army based in Negros Oriental commemorated the Peace Consciousness Month with the “Bike for Peace” and by planting about 1,000 Acacia mangium seedlings in Brgy. Hinakpan, Guihulngan City in the province, its press release said.

The activity was participated in by the 11IB Lapu-Lapu troopers, the Guihulngan City, led by Mayor Ernesto Reyes; React NegOr 1 group, headed by Audie Micheal Litrada, ROTC students from the Negros Oriental State University Guihulngan Campus, and representatives from the Department of Environment and Natural Resources, Philippine National Police, 6.9 Magnitude MTB Bikers, and peoples organization, the press release added.*
