NOTAFA to spearhead The Negros Occidental Track and Field Association will hold `Walk-For-A-Cause’ fund-raising activity on September 30 in Bacolod City, to raise funds and help save the life of former Philippine sprinter and Negros Occidental athletics standout Marife Suanque-Guili, Suanque has been diagnosed with cervical cancer and her friends and former teammates have been appealing for help for her medical expenses. In response to the call for assistance, NOTAFA president Roger Banzuela said they agreed to hold the `Walk-For-A-Cause’, that will start at 6 a.m. from the New Government Center to Bacolod City National High School, passing through the Circumfeerential Road and Doña Juliana Heights. Registration fee will be P20 for students and P50 or more for professionals. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
