Athletes from Ateneo and La Salle schools in the country head the list of contingents who will compete in the 17th Sandugo – University Games set on October 22 sto 28 at the University of St. La Salle in Bacolod City.
UniGames president Roger Banzuela said 43 out of the 71 schools invited to join in this year’s edition of the UniGames have confirmed their participation in the week-long games among college athletes.
Scheduled to arrive in Bacolod City next month to vie for the top honors in 16 sports events are student athletes from Adamson University, Ateneo de Davao University, Ateneo de Manila University, Cebu Normal University, Central Philippines University, Colegio de la Purisima Concepcion, Colegio San Agustin-Bacolod;
De la Salle College of St. Benilde, De la Salle-Lipa, De la Salle University-Dasmariñas, De La Salle University-Manila, Dipolog Medical Center College Foundation, Inc; Far Eastern University, Foundation University, Hercor College-Capiz, Holy Angel University-Pampanga, Holy Cross College of Davao;
Holy Name University-Tagbilaran, Iloilo Doctor’s College, John B. Lacson Foundation Maritime University-Iloilo, Jose Maria College-Davao and Jose Rizal University; La Salle University-Ozamiz City, Naga College Foundation, National University, Polytechnic University of the Philippines, Rizal Technological University, San Beda College;
