29 years after

BUDDAI

An anniversary mass was held by members of the Ciocon family and staff

with Fr. Alex Araneta officiating for the 29th anniversary of Chicken Deli.

The first and second floors of the building were blessed, and a sumptuous breakfast followed.

Ninfa and Perla Leonardia, and LCC classmates Teret de Leon Arnaldo and Marili Tacardon, and I attended the dinner affair, later with Irma del Castillo, a balikbayan from New York, who came home to visit the City of Smiles after 32 years. The air of festivity, and the aroma of the delicious inasal, welcomed us. It was a full house.

At the other side of the resto, the birthday celebration of Hyacinth Diaz was going on with the L’Ecole teachers and staff, headed by Connie Lacson and Rizza Lacson Leonardia. They were having a grand time, with singing and games.

At another long table were seated the members of the Days with the Lord.

Even though it was drizzling, many customers arrived and enjoyed the anniversary celebration of Chicken Deli. Congratulation to the officers and staff!

Remember: A song in your heart puts a smile on your face. When someone is grieving, listen, don’t lecture.*
