Couple die in accident

A motorcycle driver and his fiancée died when their motorcycle collided with a trailer truck owned by Lopez Sugar Corp. in Brgy. Paraiso, Sagay City, Wednesday.

Chief Inspector Gabriel Gutierrez, Sagay police chief, saidJoebert Aranco, 24, who was driving the motorcycle, died on the spot, while his fiancée, Chrislyn Tidoso, 21, expired at about 3 a.m. yesterday.

Investigations by the Sagay police showed that the motorcycle collided with a Prime Mover cargo trailer,driven by Jonnie Garandez.

Garandez, who immediately surrendered to the Sagay City Police Station, is now under the police custody.*GPB
