A motorcycle accident in Bacolod City Sunday night left three motorists injured, Police Officer 3 Xavier Rama said yesterday.

Rama identified those injured as Ronald Sabay, 34, Dexter Arsenal, 19, and Keddy Asimal, 23, of Brgy. Taloc, Bago City, Negros Occidental.

The three were on board a Honda XRM motorcycle with Plate Number IJ8238 driven by Sabay heading north of Sum-ag highway, a police report said.

A Honda van (BDF 523) driven by Rafael Villaruel, 37, of Sunshine Road, Brgy. Taloc, bumped the motorcycle when the vehicles reached the area in front of the 7th Adventist Church in Purok San Roque, Brgy. Sum-ag, the report added.

Bacolod City Police Traffic Management Unit head, Senior Insp. Levy Pangue, earlier said that the number of traffic accidents are expected to double this December.*APN
