NSCA poised to grab honors
from WVSU in SCUAA meet

Negros State College of Agriculture of Kabankalan City is threatening to grab the overall title in the 11-delegation Regional State Colleges and University Meet that ends today in Talisay City .
The regional meet is hosted by Carlos Hilado Memorial State College.
With at least seven championship matches left as of press deadline yesterday, the NSCA athletes registered 54-22-27 gold-silver-bronze medal tally. 
| Iloilo bags overall Even the twin gold medals from men's basketball and football failed to boost Negros Occidental's chances in the overall medal tally as Iloilo team collected a total of 150 gold, 93 silver and 41 bronze medals to dominate this year's edition of the Western Visayas Private Schools Sports, Cultural and Educational Association that ended yesterday in Roxas City, Capiz. Represented by NOPSSCEA athletes, Negros finished with a lean collection of 82 golds, 124 silvers and 35 bronzes. Host Capiz was at third place with 18-17-117 gold-silver-bronze tally while Aklan claimed the fourth spot with 1-9-37 finish and Antique at fifth place with 0-6-6 tally. |
