The Diocese of Bacolod has announced the new assignments of its priests.

Fr. Alex Araneta has been assigned as chaplain of the Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Chapel at the Doctor’s Hospital, Fr. Raymon Asoy – chaplain of Brgy. Paticui in Hinigaran, Fr. Rafael Baja – chaplain of the Sto. Niño Chapel at the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital;

Fr. Casimiro Batalla – parish priest of the St. Therese of the Child Jesus Quasi-Parish at Cameroli Avenue, Brgy. 34, Bacolod City, Fr. Aniceto Buenafe – parish priest of the San Antonio Abad Parish in  Bacolod City and Social Action director;

Fr. Arnold Deletina – Parochial Vicar of the San Sebastian Cathedral, Fr. Julius Espinosa – chaplain of the Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Chaplaincy in Eroreco Subdivision, Bacolod City, Fr. Chris Gonzales – parish priest of the San Isidro Labrador Quasi-Parish in Brgy. Guimbala-on, Silay City;

Fr. Mitchel Guadalupe – Diocesan Treasurer of the Diocese of Bacolod, Fr. Hubert Javellana – director of the Pax Catholic Academy in La Carlota City and resident priest of the Our Lady of Peace Parish also in La Carlota City, Rev. Fr. Joevic Lemoncito – parish priest of the St. Jude Thaddeus Shrine in Brgy. Alijis, Bacolod City;

Fr. Virgilio Mahinay – parochial vicar of the Immaculate Conception Parish in Murcia, Negros Occidental, Msgr. Nicasio Melicor – chaplain of the Sto. Niño Chaplaincy in Helvetia Heights, Bacolod City, Fr. Serafin Nava III – parish priest of the St. Joseph Parish in Henrietta Village, Bacolod City;

Msgr. Victorino Rivas – rector of the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Shrine, B.S. Aquino Drive, Bacolod City, Fr. Tomas Rito – parish priest of the Our Lady of Lourdes Parish in Pulupandan, Negros Occidental, Fr. Joel Roquez – parochial vicar of the San Diego Pro-Cathedral in Silay City, Fr. Nitodel Soriano – director of the Diocesan Pastoral Center and assisting priest of the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Shrine at B.S. Aquino Drive, Bacolod City;

Fr. Pablo Tabino – resident priest of the San Juan Nepomuceno Parish in Brgy. Sum-ag, Bacolod City, Fr. Humberto Tumbos – chaplain of the St. Joseph Chaplaincy at Mt. View Subdivision, Bacolod City, Fr. Romeo Tumonong Jr. – chaplain of the  Sto. Niño Chaplaincy in Aning, Brgy. Pahanocoy, Bacolod City.

Fr. Gerson Balitor and Fr. Jigie Caraig will be on sick-leave, and Fr. Felixberto Ibizate is retiring, the announcement made in Adsum, the official publication of the Diocese of Bacolod, said.*CPG
