NPBC LJP Trading/MJS defended its No.1 position in the 1st Five-Man Team Friendship Bowling Tournament at the Super Lanes of the Goldenfield Commercial Complex in Bacolod City.
After two rounds, the Gil Villagante and Steve Po’s NPBC players are now leading the 11 teams with 3,260 pinfalls, 21 pins ahead of second-running Davies Paint of Romel Jover, who climbed up from fourth to second spot with 3,239. Jover’s chargers had an output of 1,674 pinfalls in a second round.
Bago City Bowlers Association slipped down to third overall from second position with 3,219.
NPBC Tough Trucks has 3,129; Lady Dragon, 3,118; Firefly, 3,037; Kapamilya/Kapuso, 2,921; Circle Inn, 2,913; Team Justice, 2,885; Department of Education, 2,759 and Binoy Warriors, 1,481.
Negros Professional Bowlers Club/LJP MJS established the highest team triple with 1,723, while Davies in single with 609.
NPBC bet Ruby Gliz Cordero and Cesar Sumaylo of Davies Paint registered the highest pinning records with 92 and 94 respectively in their divisions.
Matt Gaudite also of NPBC booked the highest single and triple marks with 141 and 390 apiece, as Cordero and Precy Pillo, of Lady Dragon in the women’s single and triple with 142 and 343 balls, apiece.
