Feast day, house blessing

BUDDAI

Today is the feast day of San Sebastian, the patron saint of soldiers, athletes, Bacolod City and the Diocese.

He is also our model in witnessing Jesus Christ Our Lord, His suffering and death for our salvation. That was the way taken by San Sebastian for the Cross of Our Christian Faith.

Despite the heavy rains Ninfa, Perla, Erline, Laarni, Carla and I attended the blessing of the new Talisay abode of Rey and Leyne Jane “Ging” Siason and their 6-year-old daughter Ahleya, who is now studying in Bacolod Montessori.

Fr. Mike Carreon officiated at the rites.

A media man, Rey is a Commerce graduate of L.C.C. He used to work for dyWB Bombo Radyo Bacolod, and is now hosting a TV program every Saturday. He manages his own firm for outdoors ads and engineering works.

He is married to Leyne Jane who is working in the United Arab Emirates as an office administrator, of an Engineering Laboratory Firm (MATRIX).

The affair was attended by media colleagues, top politicians, relatives and friends from the Metro Bacolod Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The two-storey house that Rey himself designed has a garden with blooming flowers and shrubs, with matching twinkling lights. All the colorful oil painting and colorful flowers are from United Arab Emirates hand carried home by Lynne Jane.

Ahleya, at her age, can entertain guests by dancing and singing. She was very friendly to all the friends of Dad and Mom.

To the wonderful couple, God bless you in your new home.

Remember: Welcome each day as a gift from God. You are one of a kind, designed to glory God as only you can.*
