Davies Paint continued to remain ahead in the ongoing Five-Man Team Friendship Bowling Tournament at the Super Lanes of the Goldenfield Commercial Complex in Bacolod City.

Headed by Romel Jover, Davies is on top of the heap with 11,422 pinfalls, 152 pins ahead over second-running Gil Villagante and Steve Po’s NPBC LJP Trading MJS with 11,270 output.

Playing for  Davies are Jover, Rey Bala-an, Munching Guinson, Edgar Jerez, Felipe Boy Romero, Marlon Jochico and Cesar Sumaylo, while Willy Mahilum, Matt Gaudite, Hernand Garciniego, Cano Gaudite, Rose Pablico, Jam Morales, Steve Po and Nonoy Gomez for LJP.

Negros Professional Bowlers Club/Tough Trucks anchored by Jaime Chua was third with 11,217 followed by Bago City Bowlers Association led by Ric Abellar with 10,979.

The other teams with their corresponding ouput: Firefly, 10,719; Lady Dragon, 10,659; 69 Ners, 10,653; Circle Inn 10,404; Kapamilya/Kapuso, 10,211; Team Justice, 9,983, and DEP-ED, 9,805.

In the individual competition, Ric Abellar, of BACBA and Felipe Boy Romero, of Davies record in highest single and triple records at 171 and 395 are untouched, while Cesar Sumaylo, also Davies in highest pinning with 94 in the men’s bracket.

Susan Robles of Firefly established the highest single and triple with 147 and 390, as Ruby Gliz Cordero of NPBC holds the highest pinning mark with 92.
