Impeachment or removal of the majority directors and officers of the Dacongcogon Cooperative Marketing Association will be the leading agenda of its annual regular assembly in Barangay Tabugon, Kabankalan City, at 10 a.m. Aug. 28, Rolando Parpa, former chairman and president of DPCMA, said in a press release yesterday.
This was agreed upon by the directors, led by Wilfredo Miraflores and the group of members questioning his leadership, after the fact-finding dialogs between parties presided over by CDA Legal Officer, Danilo Segubre at the L’Fisher Hotel in Bacolod City on July 24, and at the coop mill site office at Barangay Tabugon, Kabankalan City later, Parpa said.
He also said both parties recognize the urgent need for the sugar mill to operate and serve the members this crop year, 2009-2010, and the coming in of investors or financiers, the press release added.
To resolve the issues head on, an impeachment or removal proceedings of concerned majority directors and official was agreed on to be conducted during the regular assembly, Parpa said in the same press release.*
