Cebu Pacific
starts new route service

Cebu Pacific, the Philippines’ largest domestic airline, starts its thrice weekly Manila-Cauayan (Isabela) service today, a press release from the airline said.

Using its brand new ATR 72-500 aircraft, the new service will fly every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

The flight departs Manila at 9:50 a.m. and lands in Cauayan at 10:50 a.m., while the return flight leaves Cauayan at 11:10 and arrives in Manila at noon.

CEB’s Manila-Cauayan flights are sold at ‘Go Lite’ fare of P988 all-in.

Flying to new cities like Cauayan is part of the airline’s nation building efforts, Cauayan being CEB’s 32nd domestic destination.

“CEB is continuously expanding its domestic network because we want to help boost development within the country by offering an affordable means of transportation,” Candice Iyog, CEB VP for marketing and distribution, said in the press release.

She also said that easier access to these areas can lead to more vibrant tourism and business activities.

“A faster, affordable and more convenient way to get to Isabela encourages people to go home to their provinces more often. Or maybe even bring their friends to visit their hometowns,” she added.

CEB is the only airline operating the Manila-Cauayan (Isabela) route.

Passengers may book their flights at www.cebupacifcair.com, call reservations at (02) 70-20-88, or visit their nearest travel agent, the press release said.

CEB, the leading domestic carrier, flies to 14 cities in Asia and 32 domestic destinations with direct flights from Clark, Cebu, Davao, and Manila. It currently has the youngest fleet in the country, comprised of 21 Airbus A320s and 8 ATR aircraft, the press release added.*
