Bowlers from Department of Education-Province took the curtain raiser of the NSL organized Invitational Fun Bowl Bowling Tournament at the Super Lanes of the Goldenfields Commercial Complex in Bacolod City.

Joval Damasco, of Moonlight Inn and Rowena Juarez of RJS Pinsmashers won the opening three balls contest with a spare and a strike in the men and women’s division.

The DepEd pinbusters struck the night-high 1,514 pinfalls to lead the 20-team cast followed by NOHS Class ’89 with 1,487 balls.

Moonlight Inn and 69’Ners occupied the third and fourth spots with 1,476 and 1,446 apiece.
