The Tourism and Performing Arts Society, is infusing new blood into the group that has existed for about 10 years now, with an audition at the Pope John Paul Cultural Center at the Sacred Heart Seminary Compound in Bacolod City Saturday, a press release from the group said.

Tapas Directors Aaron Sorbito and his wife, Salome, said the cultural group needs young performers including singers and dancers, but folk and classical singing and folk dances.

Applicants must have background of folk and classical singing and must at least be 17 years old and must be willing to undergo training, the press release said.

For dancers, applicants must have background in folk dances, similarly at least 17 years old and willing to undergo training, they added.

Tapas has performed all over the province in the past and in Manila where their performance was acclaimed by well-known artists and performers, the press release added.*
