| Love is in the Air
It was an intimately solemn wedding ceremony for Hector Paul Villar Torre and the lovely Anna Kathleen Paz Acuña, who said their “I dos” at the Sta. Clara Chapel with their closest family and friends present.
The ceremony was officiated by Fr. Ernesto Javier. Pauly is the son of Drs. Hector Torre and Evita Villa, while Cookie is the daughter of Vicente and Elizabeth Acuña.
The chapel was decorated with white flowers. The serenades of Kulai Pikata filled the air with love. Dinner reception followed at the ballroom of the Marapara Golf and Country Club. The couple’s personalized black and white logo of their initials decorated the place, made for this big day by the groom himself, who is also a multimedia artist – from the invites, to the cake, the stage backdrop, lamps, and guest give-aways.
Tables were decorated in black Damasque inspired cloth and splash of colors from the lighting, while centerpieces were a wide variety of flowers in pink, blue and green, gown motif of the couple entourage. It was a lovely surprise for everyone when the couple did their own hip rendition of the traditional “Couple’s First Dance”, which was met with applause and cheers. Kulai Pikata continued to serenade the guests during dinner, while the Mariteves band kept the guests of all ages grooving all night. The groom's sisters, Pat and Kathy, gifted the couple with a few songs and a surprise performance, while Andre Jalandoni and Vic Facultad of Indio-I belted great songs.
The night was filled with pure enjoyment and happiness, with non-stop toasts and cheers and over-flowing drinks.*
