A house helper, who allegedly took the cellular phones and cash of her co-workers, was arrested at about 12:30 p.m. in Bacolod yesterday by Police Officer 2 Clint William Ferrer of the Bacolod City Police Office Anti-Robbery group.
Ferrer identified the suspect as Joevelyn Isidro, 25, of Brgy. Candumarao, Hinigaran, Negros Occidental, who is now detained at the lock-up cell of Police Station 1 in the city.
Investigation showed that Isidro, a mother of two, allegedly took the cellular phone and P1,460 in cash of her co-worker Jacqueline Nuñez, 22, of Puentebella Subdivision, Brgy. Taculing at about 4 p.m. Thursday.
She also took the cellular phone of her 17-year-old co-worker from Brgy. Himaya, Hinigaran, at about 7 a.m. yesterday.
When frisked at the police station, a battery pack was also recovered from her.
Ferrer said they will check with BCPO records section if Isidro has previous cases there.*APN
