The husband of a former councilor of Talisay City was shot by unidentified gunmen at Carmela Valley Subsivision in Talisay City yesterday afternoon, a Talisay police report said.

Shot at about 3:35 p.m. was Remo Javellona, 54, husband of Annie Kilayko.

The two unidentified gunmen on board a motorcycle shot Remo hitting him in the left eye, the report said. The bullet exited at the back of his head.

Javellona was rushed to the Pablo O. Torre Memorial Hospital in Bacolod City.*
