LAS VEGAS, Nevada – Filipino Manny Pacquiao made history by becoming the first fighter to win seven world titles in as many weight classes with a stunning final round technical knockout of Miguel Cotto.

Pacquiao looked unstoppable for the third consecutive fight, knocking Cotto down twice in the early rounds Saturday before putting the finishing touches on in the 12th round to claim Cotto's World Boxing Organization welterweight title.

The Filipino dominated from the second round on, putting a stunning display of boxing skills and laying a savage beating on the Puerto Rican champion at the MGM Grand hotel and casino.

AACI Farms stay unbeaten
in Fil-Sino basketball tourney

AACI Farms remained unbeaten in five starts as it held off Sweet Crystal, 82-74, while AACI Transport made it to the win column by routing Huminova Tigers, 81-65, in the Fil-Sino All Asian Countertrade Inc. 3rd Conference Inter-Color Tournament at Tay Tung High School Po Hang Gym.

Both victorious teams had triple tower frontline advantage to anchor their offense and defense freeing up their outside shooters.

The father-and-son combination of Roger Montalbo and 13-year-old Kib Montalbo, who combined for 15 points, led Sweet Crystal while 14-year-old Joshua Co fired 10 points for Farms to tie at 17-all in the first quarter.

RJ Star keeps win streak
in Fun Bowl competition

RJ Star I continued its winning streak to reclaim the driver seat in the ongoing Class '89 organized Fun Bowl at the Super Lanes of the Goldenfields Commercial Complex in Bacolod City .

Headed by Rowena Juarez, the current No.1 toppled a seven-round collection of 10,783 pinfalls to unseat erstwhile topnotcher Suppliers who slide down to second spot with 10,732.

Occupying the third position is 69Ner's with 10,562 followed by RJ Star 2 with 10,547.
