Three were injured when two cousins fought at about 8:30 p.m. Friday in Bacolod City , a police report said yesterday.
Injured were Oliver Tempino, 21; Mary Joy Seva, 24; and Jaysa Bacacao, 19, all of Purok Hardin, Doña Juliana Heights Subdivision, Brgy. Taculing, in the city.
Tempino sustained four gunshot wounds on his hip, Seva had a gunshot wound on her thigh, and Bacacao suffered laceration on her right hand, police records showed.
Investigation conducted by Police Officer 3 Celito Dullan and PO2 Emman Anacleto showed that Tempino and his cousin Reynaldo Ambo had a misunderstanding.
Ambo allegedly went home, took a knife and chased Tempino but Bacacao, who is his common-law-wife, intervened which resulted in her injuries. Ambo again went home and took an improvised shotgun, or “sumpak” and shot Tempino on the back, while Seva who was near the scene was hit by a stray bullet, police investigation added.
The victims were treated at the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital , while Ambo evaded arrest.*APN
