Robbers broke into a dry goods store in Bacolod City early yesterday morning and carted away a vault containing about P1.3 million in cash, Senior Police Officer 1 Jerry Senoro said.
Senoro, investigator on case, said that Rosavilla Valdevieso, 32, marketing supervisor of the SUNVES Marketing at Luzuriaga Street in front of Bacolod Central Market discovered the robbery at about 7:30 a.m. when they opened their establishment.
Based on their investigation the suspects destroyed the padlock of a sliding steel door at the ground floor, went to the third floor and entered the office of the establishment’s officer-in-charge Yeng Yan Leng without any force, Seboro said. |
