| The 888 Chinatown Square in Bacolod City is holding a three-day mall wide sale as its pre-Christmas offering that started yesterday and will end November 22, a press release from the management said.
During the sale, stores and bazaars will offer their items at discounted prices, while the Lopue’s Value Store will offer 10 percent off on its grocery items during the midnight sale today.
Ziba Communication and Services, a PLDT station and application center at 888 Chinatown Square, will offer its customers giveaways for every PLDT application as well as freebies to PLDT customers.
Meanwhile, to usher the start of the holiday season, 888 Chinatown Square will have a ceremonial lighting of the mall’s giant Christmas tree at the peacock area, 5:30 p.m. today, the press release from mall administrator, Luz Lanzar, said.
Several dance numbers will be performed by the Bing Sendico talents, while the electric Masskara dancers will enthrall the crowd with their winning piece shortly after the ceremonial lighting.
A live acoustic band will entertain the shoppers with their beautiful love songs, the press release added.*

Mall establishes
share-a-toy booth
SM Foundation, in cooperation with Toy Kingdom and the Department of Social Welfare and Development, will give toys to indigent Negrense children through its Make-A-Child-Happy program which has been done for three consecutive years in Bacolod City, a press release from the foundation said.
The Share-A-Toy booth has been set up at the Northwing lobby, in front of SM Foodcourt, to accept new and old toys, and cash donations until January 4, 2010.
