Despedida de soltera

Before their wedding last Saturday, we celebrated the “despedida de soltera” or bachelorette party for lawyer Maridel Consing Ciocon at the spacious Ciocon residence. It was well-attended by relatives, friends of the family and about two hundred visitors from Zambales, Manila and abroad, headed by Renato and Norma Dilag, parents of the groom.

The lovely and attractive garden was full of twinkling lights and flowers blooming, just in time for the big celebration. A large permanent green and white canopy was set up and tables with dainty and lovely flowers were spread all over.

The lovely bride, together with Mundi Dilag, the groom, welcomed all well wishers. Some latecomers had just arrived on the last trip from Manila .

Two long buffet tables at the left and right sides were laid out for the guests.

Kulay Picata, with their selections of their romantic music of yesteryears, up to the present time, added to the enjoyment of the night.

Everybody wanted to be photographed with once LVN superstar Miss Delia Razon, who is still as lovely as ever. The bride and the groom were the most sought-after for photographs with friends and relatives.

To dear Maridel and Mundi: Good Bless!

Remember: No one is more secure than those who are in God's hands. Correction may mold us, but encouragement will motivate us.*
