More courts pushed

The House of Representatives approved on third and final reading seven bills seeking to establish additional trial courts in various parts of the country, including Negros Occidental, to expedite the administration of justice and unclog court dockets.

House Bills 6173, 6112, 5885, 5884, 3294, 2304 and 1504 all seek the amendment of the "Judiciary Reorganization Act of 1980" through enhanced administration of justice, a House press release said.

House Bill B 1504, principally authored by Rep. Jeffrey Ferrer (Neg. Occ., 4th District) aims to establish two additional RTCs in La Carlota City and in Bago City in Negros Occidental.*
